Rodgers Videos

What has 156 videos, 4,310 subscribers, and over 1.5 million total views? Rodgers’ YouTube channel!

Gone are the old-fashioned days of vinyl records, cassette tapes, and compact discs to enjoy organ demonstrations. Videos are a great medium to view and hear our organs! The optimum listening experience is with the use of high-definition headphones or ear buds, or a state-of-the-art audio system. Mobile phones and typical computer speakers only give a fraction of the “you are there” proper environment.

Rodgers Instruments has posted high-quality performance and informational videos on their YouTube channel since 2008. The video with the highest (127,888) views is “All Glory, Laud and Honor,” arranged by Dan Miller, performed by talented organist Garrett F. Martin on the three-manual Rodgers organ in Sacred Heart Chapel of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California.

The home page of Rodgers’ YouTube channel (above) shows the most recent videos. A viewer can select any of the videos shown, or they could click the “Videos” tab to see all of the available videos:

However, if the viewer is interested in a particular organ model, they can click the “Playlists” tab as shown here:

Rodgers’ videos are organized with several playlists. When a playlist is selected, the viewer can select and view any of the videos in that playlist. Perhaps you may be interested in a particular model for yourself or your church. This is a great tool to view specific-model videos!

Each video has a “Share” button which provides a shareable link to that video, so you can share your favorites with friends and family via emails and messages.
