It's Convention Time!
This month we attended both AGO 2024 in San Francisco and NPM 2024 in Kansas City. It’s always a privilege to have the meet and share with our friends in the organ world, as well as have the chance to meet new folks along the way!
In San Francisco, many friendly faces stopped by our booth at the Marriott Marquis Hotel to share their enthusiastic appreciation for the Rodgers and Johannus organs they use for home and church!
We’d like to give a special thanks to Troy Killorn and Gilbert Solorio of Classic Organs of Northern California for their presence and representing Global Organ Group at our booth.
The next week, in Kansas City, hundreds of people were elevated in worship and liturgy by the sound of our Imagine 351 installed in the main worship center for a meeting of Catholic liturgists, educators, and music directors. We were thrilled to see the response from the audience.
The first Plenum speaker of the week was Dr. Jan Kraybill. Her talk, “All I Really Need to Know I Learned from Riding My Harley”, and her evening organ concert were considered key highlights of the convention, as people rose to their feet in thunderous applause before, during, and after each time she appeared on stage. Keep watch for more from Jan Kraybill and Rodgers in our upcoming performance videos!
A Rodgers Imagine 239 was at the center of worship and education in a special breakout room, where world-renowned artists and lecturers Tom Trenney and Monty Bennett connected with enthusiastic audiences throughout the week.
We’d like to give a final special thank you to Gerald Oehring for supplying the four organs for the NPM convention. Gerry installed the Rodgers Imagine 351 and Imagine 239 in the main auditoriums, as well as an Inspire 227 and Johannus Sudio 380 in the exhibit booth where he proudly represented Global Organ Group alongside Tim Newby of Central Music and Stacy Piontek.
See you on the show floor next year!
