Celebrating the next generation of organists

Words cannot express how important the "organists of tomorrow" are to keep the tradition and beautiful music of organ playing relevant into the future.

Tim Warncke, a wonderfully talented young prospect who is currently 13 years old, began playing the organ four years ago in the summer of 2016 with his teacher William Vaughan.

His mother, Mrs. Susanne Rommel, is currently the AGO Chapter Dean for San Francisco. She proudly states, “At home, Tim sometimes practices 3 hours a day in his room on his Rodgers Inspire Series 233. The picture shows Tim receiving organ lessons from William Vaughan through FaceTime during shelter-in-place times in California (notice the tanks and toys).”

Mrs. Rommel continues, “What a blessing that we got the [Inspire 233] organ. With it, Tim is privileged to still practice every day at least 2 hours, while others cannot enter their churches for practice anymore.”

The videos below show Tim playing at the Church of the Assumption in San Leandro, California, on a Rodgers 4-manual which was installed by Robert Tall & Associates in 2009. Robert Tall & Associates also provided Tim with the Inspire 233 organ that is currently in his home.
